Hidden Connections

Daniel R Castro, author of ‘Hidden Solutions All Around You’, says “There is no such thing as a problem without a solution.”

“The power of hidden connections is very liberating once you grasp the magnitude of it. The beauty of this concept is that you don’t have to singularly create something that never existed before.

Remember, Einstein didn’t discover the concepts of energy, mass or the speed of light. Rockefeller didn’t discover oil or the oil refining process. Vanderbilt did not invent the steam engine or railroads. JP Morgan did not invent investment banking. Carnegie didn’t discover how to turn iron ore into steel. Henry Ford didn’t invent the combustible engine, the automobile, or the assembly line. Neither IBM, Bill Gates, nor Michael Dell invented the computer. Ray Kroc did not invent hamburger or French fries. Colonel Sanders did not invent fried chicken. Howard Schultz did not invent espresso or the warm cozy coffee shop. Sam Walton did not invent the concept of discount retail stores. Neither Google, nor Yahoo, nor AOL invented the Internet. Mark Zuckerberg did not invent social networking. Steve Jobs did not invent the cell phone, digital music, or pocket held music players.

These people only added to the base of available knowledge and found creative ways to connect previously known technologies and concepts in a new and different way. If they can do it, so can you. Remember, there are ideas all around you, waiting to be plucked out of the air. Everything you need to create something new already exist somewhere near you, and is closer than you think. Discovery is the sudden conscious awareness of a hidden connection that was always there.”
